We are pleased to invite you to a free community talk on What Everyone Should Know About Lymphoedema. Join us to learn what lymphoedema is, whether you could be at risk of developing it, how to recognise the early signs, and why early diagnosis and treatment matter. This informative session is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to ask questions and gain practical advice from experts.

Our aims
- give older people an active voice in stating their needs and views on local and national issues that concern them
- promote the importance of acknowledging and respecting the dignity and worth of older people
- positively combat age discrimination.
What we do
- hold open meetings every month with relevant speakers
- ·campaign on key issues affecting older people
- ·support and bring together a network of organisations in Wandsworth which work with older people
- ·represent older people’s interests on local groups
- ·organise an annual Conference on a topical issue relating to older people for our stakeholders
- produce a regular newsletter with a wide circulation
Who we are
- ·a member organisation open to any older resident in Wandsworth or any individual or organisation working with older people in Wandsworth
- ·run by a group of volunteers who form a management committee supported by a part time administrator
- funded by Wandsworth Council until 2023 and helped by other charities and Trusts from time to time
